Lots of new coffee chains started to open in Kyiv (Kiev). It is considered refined, or high class, to invite a friend for a cup of coffee and a nice chat to the Coffee Shop. Sometimes it's just comfortable to have a short business meeting at such places. Usually the prices are quite high at the Coffee Shops.
